David Ball has perused a successful career in medical technology spanning forty years.
David was appointed Chairman of The Newbury and District Cancer Care Trust in 2007. He has served as a Berkshire magistrate for 23 years and is currently Chairman of the Police Rehabilitation Centre.
Helen has been with the Newbury and District Cancer Care Trust since 2007 and in the role as Executive Officer since 2008. She coordinates the day to day running of the charity.
Helen’s duties involve speaking to people requesting help, liaising with fundraisers, maintaining records of grants and finances, and managing volunteers and Trustees.
Dr Keith Endersby
Dr Keith Endersby was a GP in Newbury for over 30 years, retiring in 2009. Keith’s time in medical practise has created a passion for how the Rosemary Appeal could improve the lives of the people of Newbury and West Berkshire.
He has been a trustee of the Newbury and Thatcham Hospital Trust for 3 years.
Dr Paul Millard
Dr Paul Millard has worked as a GP in Newbury for many years, with a focus on Palliative Medicine. Paul founded the Newbury and District Cancer Care Trust in 1984 and led the appeal for funds for the Rainbow Rooms in the Community Hospital.
Paul is one of the project leaders behind the Rosemary Appeal, helping to bring advanced Cancer and Renal disease care to the people of Newbury and West Berkshire.
Peter Gubb is a chartered surveyor, who for nearly 30 years was managing director of Highcross, a locally-based property development and investment company. He retired from Highcross in 2013.
Mr Gubb joined the board of Newbury and Thatcham Hospital Trust in 2002 and has been Chairman since 2005. Peter’s knowledge of building development will be invaluable in the building of the Rosemary Centre.
Dr Robert Tayton
Dr Robert Tayton was a GP in Thatcham for over 30 years before retiring in 2007.
He has been a trustee of the Newbury and Thatcham Hospital Trust since retirement, and works closely with Peter Gubb on the Renal dialysis project. Robert co-ordinates this charity with both the Newbury and District Cancer Care Trust and the hospital.
Tim Barton has lived and worked in the Newbury area for most of his life. He has been Chairman of the Volunteer Centre for West Berkshire and Chairman of the local fundraising committee for the Enham Trust.
Tim feels the Appeal will bring enormous benefits for the local community and he is delighted to be Chairman of the Rosemary Appeal Fundraising Committee.
