Deanwood Park Golf Club's Captain’s Charity Day match

On Sunday 15th April Deanwood Park Golf Club held its annual Captain’s Charity Day match in aid of the Rosemary Appeal. The weather (mostly) behaved for the fourteen teams who took part in the Stableford competition. The winning team was the Byrne family team of John and Michael Byrne and Tom Birch (pictured with Club Captain Keith Endersby). In second place was a team of Rosemary Appeal trustees, Paul Millard, David Ball and Tim Barton. Winners of the longest drives were Claire Goddard and Paul Millard and Alan Lawrence won the nearest the pin prize.

It was any enjoyable day for all and almost £1100 was raised, which, with matched funding from the Greenham Common Trust Good Exchange account is increased to almost £2200 for the Rosemary Appeal - a great result!

Thanks to everyone involved, this will make a huge difference to the total amount raised.
